Who I Am
My name is Scott Fereshetian and I am a professional bass and guitar player born and raised in Stuart, FL. I first started learning music in middle school in the mid ‘90s and continued in high school where I played in the Jazz and Symphonic Bands and other local music ensembles, like the Indian River Pops Orchestra and New Gardens Band. After high school, I spent six years traveling playing rock music around the country.
In 2012, I achieved my Associates Degree in Secondary Education from Indian River State College before starting a career with Carnival Cruiseline, where I was a Music Manager for over seven years. There, I gained tremendous versatility and experience in many genres of music ranging from all styles of jazz and rock to Top 40, Motown to 80’s, Country to Reggae. Today I continue to work for Carnival Cruiseline, only now Casting & Booking for Musicians.
I have always enjoyed teaching the importance of music and how it all connects to the topics I teach to the songs we love. If what you want to do is jam your favorite tunes, learn how to read music or understand lead sheets, I can help you in your musical journey. I look forward to meeting and working with you! Let’s jam!
